The repair of Light Seals is a very simple but a little time consuming the
worst part is removing the old sticky seal.

After working with other and most of the time expensive and hard to come
by material (see Yashica) I read about this in a camera repair bulletin
board and found a sheet for $0.98 now that's a deal. I also found this very
easy to work with, now will it last for 20 years .... |
| Set a nice straight edge and start cutting. If you don't have a paper
cutter a sharp knife and a metal rule should work. |

| While I have the desk clear I just cut a bunch of strips of approximate
width and just save them in a bag for ready use. |

| Like a lot of Cameras the Foam Seals have turned into a nice gummy black
mess. Looking around the camera back and along the hinge the mess can be
seen. First step is to remove this with Q-Tips, Alcohol and what ever works.
Be careful to keep it out of the camera you don't want to make the job any
bigger. |

For those spots that a Q-tip is to big. |
| Just roll a little cotton around a tooth pick. |
