**Charles Reichert** Special to the Tribune BRAZIL. Ind.
Oct 3, 1941?(60) --- Charles Reichert, former
Brazil coal miner, who had been making his home at Eldorado Ill for the past 28
years died yesterday at the home of his son Carl Reichert (Richert) at Detroit,
while on a visit in that city, aged 60 years. He is survived by the widow, Mrs.
Julia Reichert of Eldorado, Ill.: a son and daughter, Carl, of Detroit, and Miss
Lucille Reichert of Eldorado. He is also survived by five brothers and three
sisters. John of Jasonville; Fred of Benton, Ill.; William, Joseph and Fred
Reichert, of this city; Mrs. Ada Moss and Mrs. Elizabeth Morris of Terre Haute,
and Mrs. Pell, of Indianapolis. The body arrived in Brazil last evening and was
taken to Miller and Son's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held tomorrow
at the funeral home.

BRAZIL. Ind., Jan19.- (special)- Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9
o'clock Monday morning at the Annunication Church with Rev. C. H. Wagner
officiating, for Frank Reichert, 60 years old, who died at the family home,
810 West Church street, here. Burial will be in Summit Lawn cemetery. The
rosary will be recited at8 o'clock Sunday evening at the Miller and Son's
Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock Sunday
afternoon |

Mrs. Minnie Pieper Reichert
died at her home in Hadleytown today, after an illness of la grippe. The
deceased woman was 65 years of age.
She leaves to mourn her departure,
a husband, Charles A., and a family of ten children, two sisters, one
brother and a number of grandchildren.
She was born in Germany, but came
to this country in her early youth. Those that survivee are: Mrs.
James Morris, Mrs. James Moss, of Terre Haute, Mrs. Martin Pell of St.
Louis, Mo., Henry and John Reichert of Jasonville, William Reichert of Terre
Haute, Joseph and Frank of Clinton, Charles Reichert of Eldora, ILL., Fred
Reichert of Brazil and two sisters, Mrs. Lou Smith, of this city and Mrs.
Bertha Metz of Clinton, one brother, Gustave Pieper of Dicksonville, Ill.
The deceased woman was a member of
the Catholic Church. The funeral announcement will be made later.

Mrs. Minnie Pieper Rickert, wife of Chas. A. Rickert, passed
away at the home in Hadleytown at 2:30 o'clock this morning, after a short
illness of the grip, at the age of 65 years.
The deceased was born in Germany, but came to this country
when a young woman and had resided in this city for many years. She was a
member of the Catholic church from childhood, and lived a consistent
Christian life, and was held in high regard by all who knew her as a friend
and a neighbor.
The deceased is survived by the husband and ten children, as
follows: Henry and John Rickert, of Jasonville, Mrs. James Morris, Mrs.
William Moss and William Rickert of Terre Haute; Joseph and Frank Rickert,
of Clinton; Charles Rickert, of Eldorado, Ill,; Mrs. Martin Pell, of St.
Louis, and Fred Rickert of this city. The deceased is also survived by 9
grandchildren, two sisters. Mrs. Lou Smith, of this city, Mrs. Bertha Metz,
of Clinton; and one brother;, Gustave Pieper, of Dixon, Ill.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be
announced.

BRAZIL Ind. Jan 25 -- (Special) Mrs. Mary Magdalene Reichert, 47
years old, wife of Joseph Reichert, died at 6:45 o'clock Friday morning at
the residence, 402 South Alabama street. Besides the husband, she is
survived by two sons and a daughter, McM2/c Joseph C. Reichert, of the Navy;
James C., Hackensack, N.J., and Miss Minnie Reichert, at home; two
grandchildren, the father, George Mienheartt, and brother, Clifford
Mienheartt, both of this city. The body was taken to the Miller & Son's
Funeral Home. |

BRAZIL, Ind., Jan. 29 -- (Special) -- Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Reichert of 801 West Church Street received a wire from the War Department
this morning stating that their son, Staff Sgt. Frank M. Reichert, has been
missing in action on the western front in Belgium since Jan. 11.
Staff Sergeant Reichert was employed at the du Pont Ordnance
Plant before his induction on Dec 5, 1942 and is a member of Co. C 395th
Infantry. He has been on duty on the western front since September 1944 |
